SetMyHub ("we", "our", or "us"), a product of Qualyzentech Private Limited, is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App") or website.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Identification: Name, email address, phone number, flat/unit number, wing/block, society details.
- Account Information: Username, password (hashed), profile picture (optional).
- Order & Transaction Data: Products booked, quantities, order history, payment status.
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, unique device identifiers, push notification tokens.
- Usage Data: App interactions, screens visited, features used, crash reports.
- Location Data: Only society-level location used to match available deals (not GPS tracking).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process and manage your bulk orders.
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and notifications.
- To improve our app, detect bugs, and enhance user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations.
- To send promotional messages (only with your consent; you may opt out at any time).
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Vendors, delivery partners, and installation teams who need your details to fulfil orders.
- Technology Partners: Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and notifications.
- Payment Processors: Razorpay for secure payment processing (we do not store card details).
- Legal Authorities: When required by law or court order.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Once you request deletion of your account, we will process it as described in Section 5A below. Certain data may be retained for a limited period to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations.
5A. Account & Data Deletion on Request
You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. We are committed to honouring such requests promptly and transparently.
What gets deleted:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number, flat/wing/society details).
- Your order history and pre-booking records.
- Your device tokens, notification preferences, and app settings.
- Any profile photo or personally uploaded content.
- Login credentials and authentication records (Firebase Auth account).
What may be retained (and why):
- Completed transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years as required under Indian tax and accounting laws (GST compliance, Income Tax Act).
- Dispute or legal hold data: If your account is subject to an ongoing dispute, fraud investigation, or legal proceeding, relevant data will be retained until the matter is resolved.
- Anonymised / aggregated data: Statistical data that cannot identify you individually may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
How to request deletion:
- Email us at support@setmyhub.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and your registered mobile number or email address. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and complete deletion within 7 business days.

After deletion:
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
- The deletion is irreversible. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use SetMyHub again.
- Any active orders at the time of deletion will be cancelled and eligible refunds processed as per our Refund Policy.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules, and restricted data access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
SetMyHub is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
- Right to access your personal data.
- Right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to request permanent deletion of your account and data (see Section 5A or visit our Data Deletion page).
- Right to opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Right to data portability — receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (upon request).

Our website may use cookies to improve user experience and analytics. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. The mobile app does not use cookies but may use Firebase Analytics.

Our App may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
